Trading in my CL-S
well guys, its been a fun ride with the CL-S... but its time for me to move on. i must say i had a blast with the cl-s, especially spending a crapload of money modding it but i just cant stand FF anymore, especially on such a long and heavy car. Seriously, if the CL-S was RWD it would be 10x more the car it is.
i haven't decided whether or not im going to part out my cl-s before i sell it, i dont have stock parts to swap my modd'd parts with so im not sure. but if i do i'll definitely post in the black market
my replacement? S4 or M3
if i can get a good deal on the financing. if not i'll settle with a 330ci or mayne 330xi, E46 though since i dont like the new E90's i think they look messed up
its been nice meeting you all, and by no means will i be a stranger... probably lurk in ramblings if anything. i'll post pics of my replacement as soon as i get it.

Take care and good luck - as Mark307 said, "Dont settle for the 330."

Good luck..... Btw was offered between $12500 this weekend for my 01 CLS with 63000miles......
Was trading in for a 05 645Ci, i looked at the M3 nice but i like a larger coupe...
I looked at the black book numbers and i see the local BMW dealer is low balling me
So i'm holding out until they decide... to give me a better # on the trade, or i'll wait for the 650Ci
Black Book Trade-In as of 09/05/05
Clean Average Rough
Base $14,820 $13,500 $10,385
Options $0 $0 $0
Mileage ($825) ($550) $0
Total $13,995 $12,950 $10,385

haha.. i definitely wont be leaving. i will also be going to meets as they come up since a-cl members i've met have been pretty cool. i am actually getting a good deal on a private sale (wont be stating the price until the deal's through but its a good price, im including all my mods in it)
dealers that i've been seeing have been giving me not such great deals on M3 and S4... i saw a white 330xi six speed with premium and sport package that i really liked. the clutch is a bit finicky and its been sometime since i drove a manual car but i think i'll get used to it. if i do go for the 330xi i think i'll go for the ac schnitzer kit and wheels, but im not sure yet. AWD sounds really good to me since theres a crapload of snow up in binghamton and i need to drive everyday to my job so... im not sure.
i'll definitely let you guys know what i get though! thanks for your sentiments.
i wont definitely be a stranger![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Robert, on a side note of the 6 series bimmer coupe, holy lack of a trunk on such a long car
I was behind a guy at a gas station the other day, and all he had room for was his golf clubs... I expected more.

im pretty sure im going to go for the xi, what color should i go, white or silver? ![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
yea the snow up here is intense. i'll be swapping the tires out with snow tires with the xi and hopefully i'll be able to travel through the hills around my area...
there was NO way even with snow tires i could get around safely even at 2 mph with my CL... goddamn hills
well anyhow, one thing i'll miss is the reliability of the acura. aside from the transmission this car gave me no problems... the previous bmw i've owned tended to have a bunch of little things just give out randomly time to time, whether it be window regulator or something on the dash... but when the car does work right, oh man it definitely is the ultimate driving machine
hopefully will get the new car in a few weeks at the latest, gotta get these deals done. thanks for your sentiments
p.s. i saw the 6 series at the dealer showroom, and you know to be honest it just looks like a coupe version of the 7 series... and i was never really a fan of the 7 series... although between the mb CLS and the 6 series i would def go with the 6. the mb cls looks like shit IMO. now the new M5.... thats a different story... im half considering selling my kidney to buy it
