Track Times With New Supercharger
Friday night was my first time at the track with my new s/c installed. I was happy with the way the car ran overall. Temperature was around 72, humidity was around 58%. Here is my best and worse run side by side:
Best Worst
R/T .505 .496
60' 2.225 2.336
330 5.898 6.109
1/8 8.902 9.147
MPH 81.17 80.68
1000 11.498 11.768
1/4 13.679 13.972
MPH 102.72 102.06
What is interesting is that the car was having a stronger run on my slower time above (see mph) but I blew the launch with wheelspin. With a good launch I think this car has a 13.5X in it. This was on 93 octane, using the high boost pulley, I had my heavy 19" wheels on and my sub box in the trunk. Boost gauge showed about 5.5 psi max.

This is the thread i was waiting for.
So a 13.6 w/ the CT Supercharger on an Auto. Nice times considering the temp and humidty. Love to see how it ran in 32 degree weather.
I was wondering if dropping 5 grand would be worth it. I think it very well might be.

The lightest wheels I will probably ever have are the stock wheels. 13.2 will be tough without drag radials. I know a 13.4 is possible under the right conditions with a good launch.

I'm seeing 13.2 if you use lighter rims and a nice launch, do it man

I'd say you don't know how bad i want the S/C but then again, clearly you've been there.
How's she been running lately?
