is launching the car at 2500 rpm really worth it? Can gate shifting hurt the car? if i went ot the track i would just step on the gas in D4, or should i tourque break and gate shift?

i tb when i race the 1320 to around 2K...only time i gate shift is at the track as well...neither is healthy really for the car...gate shifting allows u to go into redline territory for a wee bit...do it enough times, and i don't think yer engine's gonna like u too much

You can do everything people suggested above, but if your tire sucks, it don't make a damn bit of difference.

I found that the hard way when I took my car to the track for the first time this last weekend.
