TQ dampeners ...worth it?

I have pretty bad wheel hop, and overall engine torques over pretty bad when on and off the throttle.... I dont even floor it from a dead stop anymore because i dont want to ruin my mounts...

ha that reminds me I had a friend with a FOXBODY mustang that just welded his 5.0 to the frame must have been a rough ride.

oh and I have another buddy with a sr20DET 240 that used hockey pucks for mounts, is that like a common thing or something for higher hp cars? Ive never seen that before he showed me.

The tq dampeners definitely make a difference, and they take up some of the slack on our shitty mounts. I was running all three of them. Two NRG dampeners in the stock location and the Ingalls Stiffy.

Is this the one you're using? I researched an older thread that said use the one for a civic but there different years and engines.
