Toyo Tire complaint
I have 1 complaint with the Toyo T1-s Tires. Maybe it's my suddenly bad luck, or the design of the tire. Mine seem to pick up things on the road in the tread. I got a nail in 1 tire last month, at the corner edge of the tread. The tire was toast with only 2K miles. Then driving back down to FL I noticed some metal thing in another tire at the same point in the tread as the nail was. Weather this metal has punctured the tire is yet to be dertermined. I'm gald it held the 500 miles I had left on my drive. It is still holding now. I'll see later. Anyway, This is the only set of tires I ever had puncture problems with. I had 2 sets of Dunlop SP Sport 9000's, 1 set of stock Michelins(same stock tires on CLS) on my other car, & went 5K miles on the stock CLS Michelin tires with no issues. Anyone with T1's notice this? Or is it really just recent bad luck?

All tires are prone to getting nails stuck in them, its not partial simply because its a Toyo Tire.
My bet is just bad luck. The Toyos are the best street tires for this car, the best track tires are definitely the bridgestone S03's.

Just sounds like rotten luck.

So I guess the passenger grade Michelins that got nails in them must have soft rubber too... (j/k)...
It happens to ALL tires.
BTW, any tire can be worn-out in NO TIME depending on the driving surface and how hard it is driven.
They are sticky, but the rubber is not that soft..
