Good times! I would say headers are a must and will net you a 14.2 or 14.3 and 98 mph. Good luck.

In re-reading your mod list I would recommend a UR crank pulley and Alphaworks headers. I have both and couldn't be happier. The AW headers don't cost much and make good power.

The bad news is I got some UR pullies from someone on the board, but when I got them they were damaged . .

With headers, pullies and something to stop the wheel hop, I really expecting 14.1 or even 14.0s

I was pretty cool getting that 14.46 . . . I had a couple of folks saying that they didn't think our 3.2 s cylinder front wheel cars could run like that . .

The best thing is on that run I was lined up against a 69 SS Camaro that was running mid 13's. I took him off the line up until 30-35mph before he pulled on me. But even at that, I was expecting him to be way out there and he wasn't. Maybe 6-7 car lengths . . . okay, that is out there, but I was thinking 10 car lengths or so.

pulleys and headers will definitely drop you to the low 14's... you need those two mods, then go back to the track

Yeah with my CL-S I ran a custom turbo new 350Z and the same thing happened, I left and didn't see him until about mid track where he finally passed me. I did a 14.44@99 on that run, he did a 13 something. We parked next to each other and he said "Damn that thing was hard to catch!". I said "thanks" and he said "cool it off and go around again, you'll go 100mph". So for one hour I had the hood up and ice on the intake. I went again and did a 14.43@100.75 mph. I was really happy and the Z guy even came over to say a few nice words. That mph should actually net a 14.2 but I think I would need slicks to do that. I also contribute some of that mph to my 14 lb 17" SSR wheels.
Keep us posted!

I agree that those 2 mods are a must, maybe knock another 3 10ths off my times, but I'm not sure how to get that launch improved. I'm getting way too much wheel hop. Shoot, I think fixing the wheel hop would be good for a 10th or miore . . I thought I recalled someone working on a front mount mod . . scalbert or someone.

Does the track have full a 1/4 mile stretch? Or were does predicted times based on 1/8 mile figures. I only ask this because I've never been to any of the tracks by Dallas, but the one that I have heard of, was a 1/8 mile track.

Great times btw.

The Texas Motorplex in Ennis gives you a time slip that has all the various break points printed out.

And thanks . . I hope to get lowering the bar, er times.
