I bet the Mazda warranty department doesn't give you shit for adding mods.....
Too bad all the crap they "claim" to have done to this Protegé, it still only has 170hp. "WIth over 1000 Mods"? Comon guys.....

Where is my super sauce?
Yes, it'd be nice to have Acura sponsered mods and upgrades. Or how about just offering a fully Comptech'ed out model (intake/headers/exhaust/nice rims/performance tires/springs/konis/sways/big brake/supercharger?...) They could charge full retail price for their installs and make some money at it. I know that I wouldn't mind (possibly) paying retail product and install costs if I knew that my car was fully warrantied by Acura with no questions asked. It's nice that places like PAA already do this, but it should really be an Acura-wide phenomenon.

and it's not acura, it's the service departments that give people hard times. There are many service departments that install AND sell mods wihtout question, such as Park Avenue.
I'm sure both companies would look at "bolt on" mods the same way, and I'm sure both would look at major warranty-voiding mods (chips, etc.) the same way.
