The TL type S feature that we DON'Tt HAVE

This is what it said in acura.com about the TL type S. They'll have illumnated coin holders. :mad"

"We've even stuck in an illuminated coin pocket. Call us crazy, but the first time you start searching for quarters in the dark, you'll be thanking us. We've left no stone unturned to ensure that the 2002 TL Type S has the most comfortable cabin in its class

guess they'll be adding this to the new 02 type S

I had the "smokers package" installed this week just for the light that comes with it in the ashtray part (I don't smoke). I had them leave the red "not an ashtray" insert in it for my coins - no more feeling for tokens in the dark - that light is great!

i dunno, the headlights are more relaxed and formal-business like, not mean and sporty agressiveness

but about the lighted coin holders, that's
sooo rice; there i said it! hah!
{gundam suit on}

but have you guys seen the lighted center console compartment in our CL (i mean the compartment under the center armrest)? now thats the shit! Its like a nice glow of green.
But for things like coins, c'mon..

I don't really like the lights. The little circular part looks cheesy like it was an afterthought that the designers tacked on. I've actually had the opportunity to look at it up close and it looks even worse...really cheap.

oh well, just dont search for coins in the dark and u'll be straight. Is the new TL-S gonna have the same stock rims that we got? from what i've seen they look the same....they should change the rims so it doesn't look like they are tryin to bite off of us. oh well.

They also get the "auto up" feature on driver's window. Bla bla bla....I got the gold and could care less about 2 more doors.

I think the new TL type S looks fantastic. I always liked the TL , but its nose always looked a little funky. But now this redesign makes it look great. Way to go acura.
as for the light up coin tray , It isnt that big of a deal for me , not worth getting rid of my babay for small details like that .

that is one thing that annoys me most of the time . No fog light switch . I think you should have the option. Also real foglights would be nice. Brings up another question I had, what is the best kind that you guys have found to replace the bulbs in there currently ( current ones dont give off much light )

TL-S' suspension is also different from that of our CL-S... according to Road and Track's first drive impression, TL-S drives more "planted" than CL-S due to its slightly different suspension....

hmmm... now I really want to go test drive it.

Dealer told that they'll be getting TL type-S in the mid of summer this year. The price-tag on it would be close to $40K at first...
I won't buy it, but I will test drive it.

The TL-S rim looks exactly the same as our rims.

BUT ! our rims are half inch wider than the TL-S rims.

so we can't actually just switch rims from a TL-S to a CL-S.

Car and Driver said that the TL-S felt more "planted" because of its slightly longer wheelbase.................. the suspension is supposedly the same setup as our CL's. I wonder why they are using the small exhaust tips like the regular TL's??

Non-navi vs. navi, you add on 2k and if that member did get it for 32k with navi...that's a damn good price.
