TL calipers?

I keep seeing all black calipers with ACURA spelled in white on Acura TL's. I do not know what year TL they are on, but they look really good and was wondering if anyone had put them on a 2nd gen cl.

These are it: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...%3Den%26sa%3DG

They are the 3G 6MT calipers, made by brembo. I don't believe anyone has put them on a 2G yet.

But, this has been discussed many of times. Next time please search.

They will fit but you have to use the bracket from the 3G TL automatic.

you buy new larger rotors, + new ss brake lines, + tl caliper, + pads, + custom bracket...

this is almost as much as a new bbk (esp. since wilwood is so cheap). might as well get the real deal.

wilwood bbk is made for the 6th gen accord and fits the 2nd gen cl/tl. its actually made by fast brakes and revolution brakes.

I'm telling you, I've been told that the 3G TL bracket for the autos mounts up to ours and will allow you to mount the Brembos...

please show me this bracket you speak of.

automatic tl brake system:

manual tl brake system:

if i know acura and honda at all, there's no 'bracket' because the brakes usually bolt straight to the hub assembly, but id like someone to prove me wrong

I guess the tech meant 7/8, but it doesn't look like it'll fit, from here. I dunno, thats just what I was told by a "certifiedacura tech"

dave, just paint your calipers white, then put some ACURA vinyl lettering on them, then paint them black, and peel off the lettering....?

7/8 is the lower piece of the automatics 2 piece caliper... it would not work in any way with the 1 piece brembo. certified tech? i hope he's a friend of yours.

do what lippstuh said, by the time you get all the componets, you could just have the wilwood bbk, which is a race bbk...

...and no, dave/OP went with rotora bbk
