Tischer Acura Phucked Up My Car! =(
Hey guys- I usually don't complain about $hit about the cls but, I am FINALLY TICKED OFF at the freaking service I received on my car....I went to Tischer Acura in Laurel MD yesterday to get my new rotors and brakes done (free). WELL, they fixed my car yesterday I was told they put on new brakes and rotors and my car was fine. WRONG! My gf and I were driving up 450 in lanham when we felt something wrong with my right front wheel. I WAS RIGHT! HAlfway up this hill by Toys R US my damn caliper fell off my PHUCKING CAR! The peice that holds the brake and caliper in place was actually grinding my rim where it literally thru chunks of the rim off into the street. NEEDLESS to say, my car wouldn't go forward, and I held up traffic on the right side of the road. I pushed my car to the wendy's parking lot and called ACURA. Yeah they wer nice and all, and sent me out a tow truck from laurel, md to tow my $hit back to the dealer but, I AM PISSED THE PHUCK OFF! My complaint is the tow truck driver pointed out how they didn't put the pin into the caliper to hold it up correct. He pointed out that the mechanic did a faulty job. My point is now i am inconvienanced again for the second phucking day. I just got my car serviced! I have to waste a freaking saturday trying to get my car fixed My rim is completely phucked up, scared the phuck out of my gf and me, held up traffic almost caused an accident and now my new rotors are gone and I am without a caliper and a car!
WHAT CAN I DO to make ACURA pay for their PHUCK UP? Can i sue/make them pay for free service or get free accessories? OR will they just give me another piece of shit loaner and new a new rim and wheel? I HOPE nothing esle boke! I was so embarrased, my new phucking car on a flatbed tow truck already! :'( All I have to say is TISCHER ACURA SERVICE!

As long as they fix the car back, let it go.
I am sure that the mechanic that did this feels like shit. Everyone makes mistakes. I know it sucks the big one tho'
Just my 2 cents.....

OMG!!! You're out for a second day? Oh no!!!
IIRC, you're one of the MANY people on this board who say that if your tranny goes, oh well, it's fixed under warranty. Try 37 days out of your car, then you can fucking cry.
BTW, it is absolute horseshit what happened to you. Although it would be ridiculous to sue, you should DEMAND that they inspect EVERY FUCKING INCH of your car's front suspension, drivetrain, etc. for any other damage and fix/replace EVERYTHING that might look the least bit funny.

I'm sorry about your story, dude ... call Acura customer service and file a complain to make the dealership pay for the damage.

talk to the service manager, i would think that they would want to do something for you besides the repairs to make up for there mistake, and i do agree that the technician probably feels like shit, sometimes the smallest mistakes can cause big problems.
you know it was not intentional

I would NOT let this go ! They could have been killed in an accident, DUE TO THE STUPID CARELESS FOOKING MECHANIC ! I would demand that he or she be FIRED and make DAMN sure to tell BBB and anyone else of that dealership's shabby work ! Trash that dealerships reputation !
I DON'T TAKE THESE CARELESS ACTIONS EASY !

i understand the severity of the issue, but i'm sure if the tech is a careless tech he would have been fired already or at this point, we are all "people" and we can and "will" make mistakes, its just some mistakes can have worse effects than others
i'm sure they will take care of the issue

people make mistakes! Let them try and correct it before castrating them! I'm quite sure Acura will appoligize, and fix everything. Who knows, mabye the bolt broke off... (doubtful, but you never know) I agree they could have been hurt...
If they don't, then I would take this route.

All that being said, there's really nothing else out there that I want to buy at this point and I'm willing to give them another 30 days to iron out the details. If it doesn't happen within that time frame, I honestly don't know where I'll be heading car wise. My CL-S is gone, I'm driving a Civic, I'm going nuts!

Can't decide on internal engine parts! The displacement has been choosen. I wasn't too thrilled when I spoke with the Auto show guy who said it was 250hp! then he said it might be 260. and nissan still is saying 280+hp! Sounds like some last minute decisions... Kinda scared me.
To me if they havent choosen the output, they havent choosen which engine they want to use yet... Granted they might know they want it to be 3.5l Chaning pistons, cams, and injectors... and or whatever they might do to bring up the HP to me is a different engine. However it may be the same block.
sucks your out of a car, I know how you feel. Why I was looking when I bought my CLS.

Dred,
That sucks some bigtime shit! I'm glad no one got hurt but that was some bullshit if I ever heard it.
My new dealership will be Chevy Chase Acura down on Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda. I have no beef with Radley Acura in Falls Church, but I am taking my business to the new kids on the block - they have a point to prove to the public and develop a new and reliable customer base - so I suggest that you have them look at your car when you get it back frm Tischer.

My problem is solved
This is my end to the story! First off thx for the replys ! I went to acura first thing saturday morning. Seeing as how i had good sex the night b4, downed about 6 bacardi silvers, and i clubbed until morning, i kinda blew off alot of steam. I decided to go into the dealership and act professional. I talked to Tina, hot-chick, who is my original service advisor and we worked out the situation. I was told that the technician did not screw in my bolt to the caliper, and he did get repremanded. Second, the wheel had to be replaced (i needed one, completely scratched b4), and they replaced both my front calipers. The head tech, and service manager along with my, girlfriend and I were able to look at the under body of my car. Everything seemed fine. I was given free service for my 30k check-up, and a free alignment was done also. They gave me a tl rental so i was ok with that. All and all, my experience turned out ok, and I knew if i went into the dealership like I have done b4, I would probably have been police escorted out (Happened to me b4). I didn't really want to embarasse myself again so, I let it be. Being that my uncle is an attorney, I will take action only if something happens to my car b/c of the first phuck up. Anyway, when i wrote this the first time i was so angry that i wasn't thinking straight. The next day, I knew acura was going to really do too much for me, so I guess it was a no win situation........well until next time! Back to Radley Acura I go!

Glad to hear Acura stood behind their work (and mistake). I hope this is common among the Acura dealerships.
I recently bought a so-called "certified" Acura 2 weeks ago and have already had it back to the service department twice.
within the near future, I will get this car to "certified" status!
