Tischer Acura is a BEAST!
Well, let me start by saying I took my cls there yesterday for service and to have the actuator replaced(under warranty, barely),due to my schedule its not always
easy to make it in a timely fashion. They had to have actuator overnighted(which
still has not arrived yet, incidentally) so they sent me to enterprise to get a rental.
As luck would have it,I was upgraded to a G35 sedan due to their shortage of
cars for a difference of $5 a day.I had the idea of going ahead and putting all
the comptech stuff I have while its there waiting for the actuator,so I call back
Bob one of the service mgrs. and he said 'yeah, bring the stuff'.I get there
and talk to him and he pages Brandon to set everything up,Brandon tells me
the install will be alittle less than what I thought, so of course I am excited
to get all this done now and have the car back by sat. at the latest.
Now this part I truly appreciate, while I was there Bob comes back and asks
me to walk out the lot, during which he tells me one of the drivers accidentally
scratches my car! So we get there and Brandon is already looking at
it, he tells me one of the guys scraped it with a windshield wiper that was
sticking out. It was a big scrape on the drivers door and a smaller one on quarter panel.Brandon then tells me they will not only fix the them ,but also the
small ding behind the drivers door that was already there.
So at some time next week,I will get my car back, meanwhile they will pay
the bulk of my rental for a car that would be considered a premium or
luxury.
It is so hard to find good customer service nowadays, they didn't bs me and
said they would take care of the problem.
PS Steve,I saw your car what are you doing this time and anybody here
owns the silver cl w/chrome 18's.

Glad to see the guys took care of you.
My car is there getting everything taken off and put back to stock...well almost stock.
Oh and I was given a brand new TSX (200 miles on it). Car has been in the shop for a week or so. I hope I get it back tomorrow so I can sell the damn thing (or trade it ) and get into the new car ASAP.

90k miles
Need something faster too.
The plan is to be the first S/C'ed '05 RSX-S on the East Coast. Running a '03-'04 ECU so I can use Hondata K-Pro. The '05 ECU is completely different and doesn't allow programming tools like K-Pro.
Needless to say I'm not done with Tischer yet.
What Comptech stuff are you getting done?

I need to get my intake installed, my local garage is going to charge me $150. How much will Tischer charge?
BTW, I had a great experience with them. I got my tranny swapped in 2 days. It pays to know a mechanic!!

At the toronto meet we had a SC'd RSX... What impressed me the most was the numbers, 225 whp.... and a factory looking engine bay even with the SC

225whp is nothing. You can make that all motor. This guy is pushing 280-300whp.

300whp would be nice. It'll be hard to tell how much is needed to get to that point though because I think i'm going to buy an '05 RSX-S. They changed everything in the '05 (New motor, new ECU) so we don't know how much more power this one will make compared to the K20A2 in the '02-'04. It definitely has alot more potential though.
