Has anyone ever installed a tire pressure monitor system on a CL?

I have.

It cost me $2.99 and it sits in the drivers door storage compartment.

They have valve stem caps that you can get at certain set PSI's so that if the actual tire pressure drops below it will show red. THe only problem is that they are kinda of big and they arent the best looking around, but definately cheaper than adding a tire monitor system.....I believe that going rate for that is 400 is just for the system, and i think labor will be no less than 200. THis is just my guess.

uh why not just do a visual of your tires everytime you fill up and actaully check the pressure with a $2 gauge at every 2nd or 3rd fillup?

Thats what I do. And i've been fine

And why not keep maps and use mapquest instead of using a navi? I think the entire point of the TPMS is convenience, just like all the other toys in high end vehicles. I'd do a TPMS install on my car if I knew how.
