tire pressure for 235/40/18

A note of caution: the required pressure will be different depending on the make and/or model of tire.
(I run my Toyo 235/45-17 T1S at 39- to 40-PSI at the front and would run my stock MXM4s at 32- to 34-PSI at the front).
If in doubt, call Pirelli and ask to speak to an engineer to make sure you get the right info.
At the worst, you can keep an eye on tire wear and use a penny or a depth gauge (generally on the end of good set of calipers) to see that the tread is wearing the same from the outside and inside to the center.
Be sure to measure the pressure when the car is DEAD COLD.
