Tire pressure for 225/40/18's?

I recently had RH EVO C4's installed with Pirelli Nero Zero ZR rated tires. I have received mixed answer as to the amount of air pressure needed in the tires. They were left at around 42 PSI when installed. I just brought all four down to 35 PSI.

What is the final word on tire pressure?

The tires read 51 PSI max pressure.

I would recommend contacting pirelli, tell them the year, make, model of your car, size of tire, and ask them at what pressure should you maintain at that fits your load capacity.

I had the Yoko Parada Spec II'2, I contacted Yoko, they stated to keep my tires(225/40/18) at 38 psi that is sutible for my load capacity!!

I run my 225-40-18s at 35-37. I've tried em all pretty much and this is the best variance.
