Thumbs up to Acura of Seattle!
I brought my '01 CL-S in on Saturday because my "Maintenance Required" light was on solid. No big deal, I guess it was for my 45K service even though I only had 43K miles.
So I bring it in and while the service writer was typing everything in, he asked if there was anything else wrong with the car. I simply noted that my steering wheel shook a little when I braked at freeway speeds. He says, "no problem - we'll replace the front rotors and pads for you under warranty". I'm like since it sounds like other people have had dealers be jerks about the front rotors. He never said they needed to take it out for a test drive or anything, they just did it.
They also hooked me up with a RSX loaner. Not a bad car with sport shift where you can control 1st to 2nd gear.
So in the end, I spent $170 for the 45K service, 2 new front rotors, 2 new front pads, and an afternoon's worth of driving the RSX. Life is good.
Now I need to firgure out what to do with the PowerStops I just bought.

Glad to hear that!!!
So no excuses when we meet up in Oregon!!!
Black Market for the power stops!
Or keep them in case the new rotors warp.
I would change pads too!!!
I would have asked the dealer if he could put them on for you.
He probably would of, no charge!

They have been good to me, well, except for the fact that they use a different oil every time I go in for a change.
Great customer service, easy to get a loaner car too.
