Did you have to uninstall the headres to weld the crack or the leak. I have a small hairline crack starting to form but its not leaking yet because i cant hear it. The crack is in the middle header on the front bank, i havent checked the rear bank cause i cant really see over there.

thanks

for it to be done properly I would remove the front bank... but if you do not care how it looks let the welder take a shot if he thinks he can get in there..

I used to weld, and no way you can get a MIG or TIG welder in there without taking something apart. The point about the electrical ground is a good one, but I'm not sure about that.

Darrin I would first try JB weld if you really dont want to remove the manifold, which I dont blame you. Did you try the soapy water solution like I said to see if its leaking at all?
