Thinking about trading the Cl-s in
Hey guys Im thinking about trading my car in. Just looking for comparible options. I lvoe the CL but I like refreshing every so often ![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I really like the g35 as its basically the only other coupe in its class, aside forom the v6 6 speed accord.
What else am I looking for. Im nervous about the G35 after all the horror stories I've heard and been told.
Suggestions

CLS 6MT Navi
I'm a coupe only buyer and was lured by the G35 coupe too. In the end, practicality, cost, and reliability won out and I stayed with my 6MT CLS.
If I was 24, like you I might have gone for it, (I didn't have that kind of money at 24!)
I like more refinement, trunk space, and nicer interior. The CLS has that and I've yet to drive ANY car that has as great a shifter as the CLS, that includes the G, and the BMW 3 coupes.
If you can hold out there are quite a few brand new coupes coming in a year, the new BMW 3, the new Lexus IS coupe, a new G35 coupe or upgrades next year.
The 6MT CLS is hard to beat IMO, but the G coupe has a very sexy body and resale is good, but it's interior is kinda low-rent IMO and it's not as refined or as trouble-free as the CLS.
Just depends on what you want..

If your considering a GTO, also consider gas prices and the fact that with a heavy foot your going to be getting around 15 mpg in the city and 20 on the highway.

This really should be in Cartalk https://acurazine.com/forums/car-talk-5/
Feel free to post your question there...
Are you looking for RWD, FWD, AWD ?? Domestic or Import ?? Is it going to be a daily driver ?? Where are you ?? Does it snow in the winter where you're located (you don't have the location filled in on your user profile), etc. etc. etc.
Lots of different options depending on the answers to the questions above (and a few more I've left out). If you want a RWD summer only car, then a S2000 might fit the bill. If you want a all season car (and it snows where you are) then a Honda Accord coupe might be the ticket. If you want RWD luxury coupe, then it's a BMW or G35c.
Listen to 123456... He's thinking the same way I am... I'm waiting till the 2007 models come out. A redesigned G35 might have an interior (and trunk) I can better tolerate. I'd love to see a RWD BMW M2 (based on the 1 series). And you never know, Acura might suprise us with a SH-AWD coupe soon to
