Thinking about getting my car unichipped
I remember reading about this months ago but just stumbled to the link again through ATL.com
http://www.superhonda.org/board/show...8&pagenumber=1
Basically its a piggy back chip. if u want to know more click the above link.
I also called my local dealer and he said 595 for parts. 278 for tune, dyno and install. and If im not satisfied free removal.
typical gains are around 10hp+ and 10torque THROUGHOUT the powerband.
He also suggested I get all my parts together first (CAI). when I told him the gain for the headers was 29~32hp he almost flipped the fook out. and he was amazed.
CAN"t wait till the summer. hehehe

Hey Guys,
Please see my post from about 6 weeks ago. I had the unichip/program installed in my CL-S. It was installed at the Racers Group at Sears Point. They are great folks, but after two seperate days on the dyno, they ultimately were not able to get any more power and refunded my money. On most cars they can adjust the air/fuel and the timing. They were only able to adjust the air/fuel on the CL-S. It was kind of strange, the car would initially dyno more hp and torque and then after a short time driving on the road the Acura pcm would re-learn and override what the unichip was sending it. I actually went to an independent dyno shop closer to my house and had them dyno my car with and without the chip. It comes with a harness plug so it was easy to unplug it for back to back runs. The racers group is working on this issue with the manufacturer in South Africa. If they have solved this problem and are also able to adjust the timing, this will be a great upgrade.
