are these scratches on rotor normal?

are these scratches on rotor normal?

I notice my rear rotors have a lot of scratches
is this normal or i needa get new pads?
FYI, i have rotora rotors

how the hell did you get scratches like that? Especially going vertical in both directions thats weird.

it might be your pads. are you using a hard metallic pad. you should always use soft, or oem pads unless you are doing xcross every weekend.

Did a shop install them? Some shops take a wire brush on a drill & scruff the rotors to help with pad break in & bite.

those just look like new rotors to me...

my brembo blanks had the same exact "scratch" pattern when they were still new

Looks like it's just the original CNC markings.

Yup, that's just machining marks. Your rotors are still quite virginal as those marks are not very deep and will go away once you've eaten off a bit rotor material.

that explains a lot because i installed these rotors in Dec, and i never do hard braking.
I usually let the car roll off instead of using brake in most situation due to high gas price
