These fights b/t CL-S and Maxima owners are getting ridiculous
1) Automatic maxima's CANNOT beat the cl-s in a straight line even if he shifts manually. The automatic maxima's get 15.6+ in the 1/4, while the Cl-S gets 14.9-15.1 in the 1/4mi, the numbers speak for themselves.
2) But a 5spd is a different thing, it's up to the Maxima driver on that race.
i think we should stop all this hostility.

I agree with everything you said. I'd like to add that I think the 5th Gen Maxima's ass end looks crappy

A stock 94 300z auto cannot beat the CL-S either. I just raced one on Sat.
My friend has the Z and a 2000 Max. SE auto.
He has raced me in both cars several times. The CL pulls every time.
You are right...... put in a 5 speed and it might be a different story.
