is there a way to remove the blue color from the piaa 1157 xtreme white bulbs or is the glass blue?

The blue coating on the glass is there to filter out certain spectrum of light - hence U have the super-white instead of the yellow light. Even if it's possible to remove the blue, then U'll have the standard yellow light emitted.
