The thing is about the EDFC. There has been talk about hood clearance problems on our cars. But who knows. I might be wrong. It would make adjusting the rear so much easier tho!

Indeed! I might even considering it just for the rear, since it's harder to adjust the rear. And that cool module you get to adjust it, makes it look like you have a turbo timer.

You need to remove the seats. You might also need to remove the rear deck speaker area. But I'm not sure. On the TL..you can kinda lift it up and stick your hand under there.

zapata where you been man? your no n00b theres a topic about tein's once a week. christ

blxmjx sells them for something like $850... look in the black market.

the EDFC does not fit under our hood's... only the TL's. BUT... who cares about under the hood... it fits for the rear and thats what matters.

without an EDFC adjusting the rears requires moving your backseats and is a PITA if you adjust frequently.

i think imma buy some teins too.

I did use the search function but still had some questions. Many apologies Hmmmm Guess i'll have to email TEIN and see if the EDFC fits the rears. I probably would adjust too much.....alteast not after i got it the way i wanted but i'm sure it would come in handy for instances like this weekend where i had to load a bunch of people into my car. Not bad right now but when i get my rims 18 inch.....rubbing might be come and issue and thus adjustability w/o taking shit apart would be so useful.

The EDFC actually fits under the hoods of the TL? I heard it doesn't either. Can you confirm this for me soopa? i have a '02 tl-s. Man...if I fits...I want! Well..actually the rear is more important.

me personaly, i wouldn't waste the money. All it adjusts is the damping, not the height. Go with the friking teins already. Just go to the website and order them.

Oh i'll go with the teins for sure. Zeal's look nice but just WAY to expensive. Plus, i read article that showed that actual TEIN factory in JAPAN.... Looks like a nice operation.

The EDFC on bobowah's car was removed. The EDFC will fit for the TL. Recently Tein has added the part number for the EDFC for the CL also...so I'm wondering if they're planning for a redesign.

Also if anything goes wrong with your Teins, Tein has opened a US division here in CA near LA. They can revalve and rebuild your shocks from scratch here so you don't have to ship it to Japan.

EDIT: This is peiqinglong.

zapata... why do you need to email tein i answered your question.

the EDFC fits on the rear shocks of the CL... the rear shocks are under the parcel shelf... even if they didnt fit you could just cut that shit. but you dont need to cuz the modules fit.

they just dont fit under the hood.

Soopa,
yea but that was with the old EDFC which was for the TL? My understanding is that the part number I posted is new. Are you saying the new thing doesn't fit either? Or is this thing not new? Some of the members are saying it is. Just trying clarify Dont mean to be a pain.....

look at their site again dude... that is the EDFC FOR THE TL.

They do not make one for the CL yet. Judging from the amount of people here who actually buy TEINs I doubt they will too.

The EDFC DOES NOT FIT UNDER OUR HOOD.

But it does fit on the rear shocks.

The front really doesnt matter as its piece of cake to adjust manually anyway... yes it would be nice... but its not a necessity.

The fact it works in the back is worth its weight in gold. Back shocks are a BITCH to adjust manually.

So anyway, to reiterate...

The EDFC part no. EDK01-10100 does not clear the hood of the CL. It is for the TL.

Confirm here: http://www.tein.com/acura.html
