i don't even think you can go to acura for tires.
but if you want to go to firestone, be my guest. but with the luck you're having, your brand new firestone tire will get tread separation and flip your car over

speaking of firestone... i heard something interesting. Everyone knows about the explorers with the tires that seperated and how they all flipped when the tires seperated. Mercury mountaineers and explorers are the same in weight, suspension, everything. but the incedent of a mountaineer rolling over when a tire failed was much much lower than the explorer. The reasoning is that explorer buyer were looking for the trendy vehicle to buy, while the mountaineer buyers were looking for a truck type of vehicle. So when the tires seperated, explorer driver tried to drive it like a car, and mountaineer drivers handled it properly because they were in the truck and tall vehicle mindset.

I would say get rid of the POS Michellin tires and get another tire. IMO

I had to get a new tire because of a bubble and I compared prices between the dealer (who would put it on and balance it for me),tirerack.com and a couple other sites and the difference was only about $20-30, plus i'd have to pay shipping. I think the tire + install cost about $180 from the dealer and I didn't have to get my hands dirty
