Suspension Questions

I used search features but its a lot of info and becomes quite confusing.

Can someone list all the options for springs that give the 01-03 Cl-S even drops! When I searched I got very confused....

Also I want an even drop that does not sacrifice to much ride quality but also gives me a lot better cornering performance. Will a camber kit be necessary?

In terms of shocks, can you guys tell me some quality ones? I found a set of front and rear Tokica Shocks on ebay ACURA CL, CLS 2001-02 Part # HU3730 and Part # HU2934 for $270. How are these? Also is there anything wrong with KYB GR-2 Shocks for 98-02 Accord, Acura CL,TL, as these are $200 shipped.

Lastly, whats a good price to get shocks and springs installed?

Thanks for your help guys I appreciate it!

Springs install was only 120 cdn.... which is like approx: 90 US... with shocks would be max 20 dollars more since he has to take them off anyways...

hope this helps

I just had my H&R sport springs and Tokico Illuminas installed at the delaership. The stance is a lot better now - no more 4X4 look. I'm still experimenting with the different settings and, right now, I have 2 front and 3 rear. The ride, IMO, is a lot better than stock and, believe me, I've driven and ridden in stiffly suspended cars. I can also take corners much faster than before. I might change the rear to 2 and leave it (so I can also put the rear seats back). According to the place where I bought the springs and from what I've read in the forums, I shouldn't need a camber kit. After the alignment, one is out by 0.2 and the other by 0.4. The left front caster is also out by 0.2. I asked the guy doing the install if I should let the springs settle first and then get the alignment done. He said the recommendation is always to get an alignment done immediately after any major suspension work is done. So, I agreed. I'll be installing a set of new tires soon and, as soon as that's done, I'm getting another alignment. Installation + alignment cost me $375.
