suprisignly fast jetta... but still won
as i was on my way home from work i was turning and a blue jetta with rims and exhaust(and obviously more stuff) i didnt get a glimpse at the backt o see if it was a 1.8T or VR6, pulled up next to me and i didnt think he was gonna race me but then he went and then i went suprisingly it took about 4-6 seconds for me to go by him and i wasnt even going by him that fast then we went 2 mroe times one was right after a stoplight he wouldnt even pull up next to me at it i won all the times we went but i thought it was real quick for a jetta i have an 01 cl-s with AEM CAI

Good kill. My guess is that it was a VR6. I tend to many more fast VR6 Jettas versus the 1.8Ts. A friend of mine has his 97 VR6 GTi running low 13s without FI or NOS.
