supercharging
:wish: has anyone thought about supercharging a CL-s?

There's already one out there, made by Comptech. Unfortunately they are shutting down due to low sales.
|
how so, was the product not that good or just low sales because of low demands?
|
i checked it out n its only for 6 speed, there rn't that many 6-speed around!
|
Low sales/demand and personally, for $4,000 I'd expect more than approximately 50whp gain. With our cars, I'd recommend a custom turbo set up. If you don't want the turbo lag, go with 2 small twin turbos, I'm sure it could be fabricated.

$3500 or $4k for just 50hp is highway robbery.......no wonder why they're closing shop.

My Magnuson supercharger for the CTS-V cost almost $8k installed, so the $4k for the Comptech was quite reasonably priced if you ask me! |
