Supercharger Fixed!!!

I just got back from the garage where they took out the underdriving UR crank pulley and replaced it with the 12v stock size version. All I can say is wow!!! Scalbert said I was probably only putting out 1.5psi with the underdrive pulley but I honestly believe I was getting less than that. Now the car just pulls like a beast! I could barely hear the SC whine before but now it just purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs. I love it, I love it, I love it! I'm gonna have to find errands to do just to get back into the car! Did I mention I loved it?

BTW, I just ordered the HBP from Velocity Resources. I'll probably being raving again next week about that too...

Great to hear and I knew you were going to feel a big difference. Actually I beleive you were getting about 0.5 PSI before.

That HBP is going to be even better!!!

Quick question: I notice a slight vibration in the steering wheel and noise when nearing redline. I'm thinking it is just the icebox as it soft of reminds me of the AEM CAI. Any ideas as to whether this is normal?

Congrats...

I had a similar experience. When I first had my S/C installed, the very next morning when I started the car I heard a ticking sound that turned out to be a loose S/C belt. After tightening it, car was so much quicker and the S/C whined a lot more.

Yeah, I think I've heard that ticking sound. Sometimes during hard acceleration I can almost feel the belt slip a little. Weird that I can sense that huh?

If your loving it at 3.5 lbs wait until you get the HBP. You wont believe the difference.

It will pull like.......2 beasts.
