Subwoofer add-on?
I love the CL so far w/ 4300 miles on it but I think the stereo's bass can use some vast improvement. When I'm blasting, the treble sounds great, the midrange is solid but when when a beat breaks, the speakers sound like a karaoke singer.
What have people seen for a subwoofer addition? I don't want a bazooka and I don't want to have anything in the trunk or sitting on the back seat. Is the Bose system capable of a subwoofer addition or do I have to rip it out? (I don't want that). I'd really like to just add a speaker in the middle of the rear and be done with it.
Let me know what people have done about this apparent problem.

Most people will just put a sub in the trunk with an amp. It sounds good. You can get a 10" sub and put it in the trunk and not sound like a ricer kid. Just do a search on sub and look around the A/V board.

i Put 2 JL 12W3's in the trunk of my CLS, i have the amp mounted on the side. Im very happy with it. I stopped alot of the rattles (under trunk lid, 3rd brake light).
