stopping distance
Does anyone know what the stopping distance is for the stock CL-S from 60-0 or 70-0? Will the Brembo kit actually improve this or will I need wider tires to create more friction? Does anyone with wider and/or stickier tires notice a improvement in stopping distance?

Did I notice in improvement in stopping distance over stock (with wider and sticker tires)?
Answer: YES -- tons, light-years, etc.
If you're talking about one time stops, it really helps (especially on black blacktop/new pavement/smooth concrete).
It doesn't help the fade -- I do not have a real problem with fade, but I do notice that the current system is only going to get more of a work out with the much higher deceleration required from driving at higher speeds (in the twistys, etc) with the benefit of the sticky rubber.
BTW -- I am considering a brake upgrade kit to stop the fade from repeated braking from high speeds.
