Stop dissing my interior!

Whatdya guys mean? You're dissing my bowling ball interior! Do you have any idea how many bowling balls died for my interior? How many women can no longer find any ebony marbled bowling balls at their local bowling alley?

lol...

I thought Acura used bowling balls found dead on the side of the road to use as the trim...I can't believe they took live bowling balls and just killed them.

They were beat with a large wooden stick repeatedly no doubt.

i thought stray bowling balls would be found on the streets and since no one would claim ownership at the alley, they'd be euthenized
thus skined

So do I. I don't even remember who said "Bowling Ball Interior" first. I laughed the first time I heard it. It's definitely different.

I've got no complaints with my bowling ball interior either. It is a nice touch IMO.

I say again: the black "bowling ball" trim is one of the top 3 interior features that get compliments from my passengers, with the others being the seats and the 6 disc changer. What I find interesting is that the "grain" is the same (or close) to the brown trim... does that make them both bowling ball-like?

What I like is that people don't look at the black trim and think it's a poor imitation of wood, because they never suspect it's supposed to look like wood. Makes one wonder though... why does the fake wood look so much better in Mercedes and BMWs (case in point, check out the 360 interior view of the CLK430)? Would it have been much more expensive for Acura to keep the swirly things a bit more subtle?
