Stock Airbox................
Is there anything wrong with changing or eliminating the U shape inlet pipe on the Cl-s? What the heck is the big plastic canister that has a inlet and connects with the U shape pipe. Would I get the same effects such as the Comptech Icebos if i remove the U shape pipe and just leave the stock box in the car.

Nothing wrong with removing U shape, i think it's there just so it will catch any water that enters. The big plastic canister is the resonator, that is what keeps the car quiet. The concept of removing it is like the comptech icebox. But the icebox has a high flow filter, u can go get a K&N high flow filter take out U shape and take out resonator... Topic covered many times
