Steering Wheel Shutter Under Hard Braking?

I have been experiencing some steering wheel shaking/shuttering under hard braking. I know this is likely due to warped front rotors, but could the rear rotors also be bad? Also, the warrenty on my CL-S has run out, so how much am $$$$ am I looking at to get new front and/or rear rotors put on? And should I get new pads done at the same time?

Thanks all and enjoy the holiday

Get front rotors and pads.

The rear should be fine but have them checked anyway to be on the safe side.

Had the same thing. Had the Front AND Rear rotors cut and pads replaced by Park Ave Acura, I dont think the rear needed it but I think they did it to be nice.

Exactly one month later, doing it again .. there goes Acura with the band aid fixes again. Once a rotor is warped .. I think its just warped. I am actually going to get in on that Rotora group buy in the Black Market and get front and rear slotted rotors with Axxis pads. They'll stop better, look better, and will have better control of heat so hopefully NO warping like the stock CRAP.

I haven't had a problem since I had my front rotors cut and pads replaced. I believe it was cause my friend that was driving at the time was so hard on the brakes in my car that they had this problem.

For right now just replace the front pads and rotors...but I have seen rear rotors w/ high spots cause a brake pulsation. It's not too common but it does happen.

Rotors have a TSB out on them. Dealer should take care of you, this is if you do not want to go the aftermarket route mentioned above.

cost me $294 at the dealer two days ago to have my front rotors cut and front pads replaced.

its most likly warped rotors. just get them milled and you should be fine. no need to buy new rotors if there just warped. i had the same prob had the rotors milled for like 50 or 6 bucks then they were fine.

PAA cut my front rotors back in January

Took it in last week for warped rotors again and this time they gave me brnad new rotors and pads up front under "Good Will"

Its worth a shot, set up another appt. I think they guarantee their work for 6 mos. or 12,000mi

No I'm sure they would do it again for me, but its my excuse to get Rotoras :) the slots look nicer and they are e-coated so they wont rust .. will match my black calipers nice, and the Axxis pads are much better than our stock shit braking system

Does anyone know how much a brake job would cost if I bring them the parts? (just labor)

For the brake rotor TSB, which cars does that apply to, or is it all?
