Steering Wheel off Centre

Hello,

Recently I've started to notice that when i'm driving straight, my steering wheel is not centered. I have to turn the wheel slightly to the right so the Acura emblem on the wheel is pointed slightly to the right.

I've checked my tire pressure on the front, set both front to 30 psi. What could be the cause of this? Help please. I have about 46,000 KM on the odo.

It's a 6speed.

Thanks,
Noodles

You probably need an alignment job.

Does it pull all the time?

Roads are not flat but have a slight crown to make water run off, my CL will or will not pull slightly depending on the amount of slope in the road.

... alignment job?.. i wonder if that's covered by warranty? shouldn't be too expensive i hope..

if i get my tires replaced since they're balding soon do tire shops do alignments too?

yes it always seems to drift slightly to the right.. so annoying.

Firestone offers lifetime alignment for like couple hundred of bucks, anytime you have a problem with alignment, they will do the alignment for you for free. And it is transferrable up to one time from car to car within a family. My fiance sold her Mercedes and transfer it to me. Not bad, I have done it few times cuz i hit the curb.

But you should be there when they do it, because my car is lowered. One time, the Firestone technician came up to me told me that my alignment is totally whacked and way off the factory setting. I had to tell them that the car has comptech spring and sways.

Anyway, not sure if there is Firestone in Canana, but it is worth it.

A regular 4-wheel alignment is 60-80 bucks and it’s NOT covered by warranty.
I’d just hold off and get it done when you get the new tires.
No sense doing it right now.
