i am looking for a new HID light bolt.. but i was wondering if '01 cl is included with HID or its just a xenon light bolt??? cuz i asked my acura dealer, they told me that our hid can't auto adjust height like bmw and others... well, it will save alot of money for stage 2 hid if hid is included with the car.. thanks

 

stqage 2 hids are just 6000k bulbs and can be directly swapped.

 

is philips ultinon STILL the only recommended brand for the upgrade in hid?

 

That's theonly brand i knowof. i'm sure there are others but i just don't know them or the availability.

 

Phillips is the reputable company, and you get a good warranty
with them. Other brand is Osram, but I dont think they sell the bulbs separately, only with a kit...
You can try brands like K2 which offer 6000-8000k bulbs, but
they are not reputable...
Hids4less.com sells the Phillips bulbs and if you mention that autolamps-online.com has them for 290 they will match that price or come very close to matching it....
