I programmed a new keyless remote for my ride today. Later on I was driving and I see that the SRS light turned on for a little while and then it turned off. Then it did the same thing like 3 times. Finally it turned off. Do you think that this is an isolated incident or is it indicating something is wrong. I mean I dont have my cell phone plugged in it was just sitting in my center console. Can someone put my mind at ease. thanks

THere was someone in the passenger seat and they weren't sitting properly. They set off a sensor in the seat. Once this guy got out it stopped and it hasn't comback eversince.

So it's the Side air bag light that is blinking and not the SRS light.

I had my side air bag light blink before for about a few seconds, but no one was sitting in the passenger seat...strange
