Springs for 1st Gen

Does anyone have the comptech springs on the Acura CL lst gen? I wanted to get these, but didn't know how it would ride. Everyone that has posted seems to have a new gen CL. Also, does anyone know if the mugen suspension would fit or not? It seems to be a very nice suspension kit. Any info would be great!

it won't work....comptech doesn't make springs that will fit...in my opinion...go Eibach Pro-Kit...they are wonderfull...my only wish for them would be that they would go a little lower!!

I just saw the pictures of your car. The 99 CL. I have a 97, and I have been looking for some nice mods for it.

I really like your lights. Can you tell me what kind of bulbs you put in your headlights, parkign lights, and bumper lights.

Did you just change all the bulbs or the casing it self.

Please include brand if you remember.

thanx

Hi,

CLPower: Thank you for the reply man..oh I thought that they came out with some. I think Tim has them on for sale? Anyways..yeah I was thinking about the Eibach Prokit like you recommended, I liked the way your car looked at the meet.

RuskiBusiness: Actually, I have a 98 CL. I just put in a AEM CAI...love it. Just need to work on the bypass valve..AEM sent me the wrong one! But Tim got on the ball and is sending me one right away
For the lights, I didn't change the casing for the headlights...I just put in Hiper Bulbs on the low beams. I have PIAA Super Whites on the High beams, had them on low but I liked the look of the Hiper's a little more. Still though, I switch around between the two. On the corner bulbs right next to the low beams, I have PIAA wedge bulbs...on the bumper, I put in a clear casing and changed the side bulbs to the PIAA wedge bulbs and the main blinker to Polarg Bulbs. Hope this helps out...oh and the Fog lights are the PIAA 1700x. If you have anymore questions, please ask and I will try to help.

no the drop isn't much but you won't need a camber kit or new shocks
