Spring Rates?

While I wait to purchase a used CL-S, I'm formulating in my head what to do about lowering springs (fixed springs or coilovers). Does anyone have a clue what the spring rates are for the Comptech, Neuspeed Sport or H&R's are? I like the moderate drop of the Comtechs, but as I found out in my old Accord, lowering requires much stiffer springs (my eggbeater Accord has 340 lb fronts and 240 rear which to me are perfect for that car). Would seem to me that the CL-S would need even stiffer springs since it's heavier.

I had all the rates written down and I can't find them right now, I really need to CLEAN my room. The Comptechs are 10% stiffer than stock. The Neuspeeds are about 25% - 30% stiffer than stock. I don't know anything about the H & R's. The Eibachs are 30% stiffer than stock, but the rears are progressive rate. I think the progressive rate gives a bad ride for the CL. It starts at like 96lbs, goes to 180 or so, then only in hard cornering goes to 260 I think. This is just off the top of my head. The Neuspeeds were like 250 or so in the rear all the time, not progressive. Call the tech support lines for each one. They will tell you what you want to know. That is what I did. All the guys I spoke with at Eibach, Neuspeed, and Comptech were VERY helpful!!!!!! None of them knew what are stock spring rate is, and Acura won't tell them. None of them had any springs to test either. Just go to their websites and find the tech support phone number, I think they are 800 numbers too!!!

Thanks for the info. My fingers are doing the walking through the internet right now getting each mfg's. phone number. When I purchased coilovers for my eggbeater Accord, I did find out that most of them could be ordered with any spring rate I wanted, but each mfg. had a "recommended" spring already on the coilover for my car, and it turned out, for some reason, the spring rates on the coilovers were way stiffer than any of the individual springs.
