Spent morning at Acura dealer...

I brought my car in for 11,000mi service.

This car rides soo much better right after an oil change. Silky smooth.

As I waited for my car to come out I spent some time looking over the TL-S.

1. Can we swap those mirrors or no??
2. What about the steering wheel logo. That thing is sweet looking in person.

The Aegean Blue is no different from the other blue. It looks just as dark unless the sun is in front of the car and your in back... then it looks lighter where the sun reflects. But not light enough.

The dealer couldn't fix the rear parcel/speaker rattle... AGAIN. Its getting very irritating.

I have to go back tuesday because they had to order a new driver side window motor. My window has started jerking around and making noise when I put it down.

I had just washed, speed shined, and dressed my tires this morning before I went. Yet they washed my car when they were done anyway... and it came out looking dirtier then it did when it went in. Grease prints everywhere... dirty water streaks... and no more tire dressing on the tires. Damn.

Our local Lexus dealer must really be after Acura...

Their dealerships are like... 3/4 mile down the road from each other.

And I noticed that they must have rented some spots out from the parking lot directly across from the Acura delaers entrace...

Where they parked all their cars in the brightest colors possible. Including a Solar Yellow IS300... (beautiful color btw)

Anyway. Gotta love Acura 5-star service

Ironic that the person who brings us this board gets shitty service. Sorry to hear that bro. You should really tell them what site you run, I bet your service would improve if they knew what an audience your problems get.

uno - up by the passenger side visor
two-o rear seat passenger side molding

damn rattles. even with the stereo up and not being able to hear them, i still know that they're rattling!

They appear to have different leading angles- the doors on the 4 dr are smaller than the 2 dr. we haven't actually tried the swap though- just measured. (too busy installing springs, sways, headers and exhausts )

Soopa,
I would of left the car there until they fixed the rattle and took a loaner. Any warranty work entitles you to a loaner car. You are more than covered by the warranty, and it is fixable. If you had your windows tinted, the tint guy may have removed the rear deck and that usually leads to rattles. Go to another Acura dealer, one that does give you 5 star service and treats you like a VIP.

Geez, Acura still hasnt fixed the crappy window motors. I had to have my replaced too and i remember a bunch of other people complaining about having to get them replaced as well.

What is the dealer name? The next time I'm in the tri-city area I'll stop by and let them know their reputation has reached the rocky mountains..

Can you find something in writing about the "required" loaner for warranty work. My dealer told me that they would ONLY give out a loaner if the car was there for more than 24 hours. I called Acura Care, and they said, "It is up to the dealer to decide".

When I asked about the road side service, they said they would tow me to the nearest dealer, and the loaner would be given only depending on the dealer's rules.

That is not what the dealer told us (me and my wife) when we bought the car. We were told we would always get a loaner. These guys are such liars.
