I'll be there, but I think I will stick to the 65 shot. I already blew the tranny once with a 75 shot. You can probably get away with the 75 shot because you don't have the header. As long as it doesn't rain, we will have a good time.

NAAAAAAAAa Fk that go 75.

Me I'll smoke all u guys I've got a kit comming in this Thrus. It consists of 3 Morosso stickers, 2 Comptech Stickers, a bumper sticker that reads 2FAST4U, and a pair of fuzzy dice to hang on the rear view mirror. Yea I'd like to see ur CT headers try to hang with that.

Actually mabey I should be considerate and give a couple of stickers to the Volvo crowd. I mean they've got it bad, not only does the manufacture rob them of a cylinder but they added extra weight to the car, and tempted the buy with a hair dryer already installed.

That's good for about 50 HP to the wheels, but that still won't beat my 6.5" K&N cone, that thing's a beast, man, i took my dad for a ride and he said "be quiet, hear that air sound?i think you have a leak somewhere" man, i just couldn't stop laughing... but neways, I took off my Moroso sticker, so I'm expecting a 12 WHP loss unfortunately, but I added my Autometer gauge sticker, so that should add 5 WHP, so I'm guessing I only lost 7 WHP... I'll still run a 14.9 with low a$$ tire pressure.. I think it will be cooler, though, because of the thunderstorms in the weather, which will cool the weather off

So, that's 6 people including myself, 3 of them are SURE goes.

As far as a caravan, I'm leaving from Boca Raton. We're having one at 5:45 from the Hillsboro Exit (really Deerfiedl). To get in touch, my cell #'s 561 809 7999

Yup I'm going.

So who "ELSE" has a Nextel? Or atleast a Cell?

CLSMike-> I see we have a weight loss contest going on. I got a few tricks up my sleave. Man driving up there with no AC is sure gonna suck . But I look on the bright side, I'll be ripped when I get there. Driving with no power steering and no brake assits is really a work out . Good thing I just 'Rain-Xed" my windows cause wiper blade really put a hampering on the quarter mile.

I got a goal mabey u can make it as well..........3300lbs.
No really .

But I would really like to take u on after u weight in and u don't do "whip-its" down the track .

Last time Juker008 and I headed up it was raining the whole way there, somebody stay on the phone with them today... call them every hr, I can't cuz I'm in school (no cell phone calls allowed), but once I get out at 3:05 I'll be calling up Moroso to check the situation.

I'm leaving at about 6:00ish... I'm probably heading up with a 1995 turbo wagon, and if you guys leave at that time, call my cell 561-809-7999 and we'll caravan up. BTW... WEAR PANTS AND LOW GAS!!! I know my gas light's on waiting for 110 octane

IT JUST HAPPENED! It did get rained out, but why didn't anyone go?!??!!?!? I was the only Volvo guy who went, but Leighton went up with Juker008... we had a good time, not quite on the track, but there was TL spraying 50 shot, which we all took a turn at and beat

I guess we'll have to take your word on the problem(s). it's cool, none of us got in a run, so it's better you didn't go, of course you would've had fun toying with a STOCK TL with just a 50 shot who thought he was hot shit... we all raped him... but, uh... our tickets are good til the end of the year. I wasn't thinkin this friday, but maybe next next friday

I shouldn't have even wasted my nitrous on that guy, but I wanted to teach him a lesson for talking so much sh*t.

Yeah i know. Supposedly TL-P run a mid 15 stock. You figure a 50 shot will shave more than a half second. I know of Accords who hit high 14 with 50 shot i/e only. TL got 25 hp advantage. I guess his car wasn't running.

Good question... um... I don't remember going to South Florida Performance, could be another 850 guy... but I highly doubt it. I live in Boca, so if that gives you any reference point :P

Definately keep me posted. I also would like to know how u plan on tuning the car after the VAFC mod. What do u plan on adjusting, and how do u know that u are tuning the engine apropriately.

Damn fastvteccl, you lucky you still got your tranny. I really can't go higher than 75 properly anyway because there is no mod out yet that can adjust my spark since 2000+ accords are direct ignition. I think HKS has one but its $400. I won't take the risk on the tranny anyways.

Juker: I'm taking it to South FL Performance to get it tuned. What they will basically do is dyno the car with the nitrous to see how my air/fuel ratio is doing. Then they'll tune it either making the car run more rich or more lean according to the dyno to get the optimal ratio. The only way really to properly do this is to use the dyno because that's the only way to accurately measure the whp and air/fuel to tune correctly. I'll keep you posted when I scrounge enough cash and time to do this.

Ahhhhhhh cool I never knew thats how it should be tuned. I just figured, throw in an rich/lean guage, gun it, spray, and see if the fuel ratio dips into the lean.

But about the timing. I know that in a situation like this retarding the timing is something that should be done. But what exactly is retarding the timing? How does it work and what does it do. Also why I just want a more through explination just to get some more details on this.

South Florida Performance is an awesome place. Good choice on where to take it. My friend went there onces and saw them testing and engine create some crazy amount of HP and the timing belt snapped.

Juker: The advance/retard timing you are talking about is related to your spark plugs in the combustion process in the cylinders. Retarding timing is sometimes necessary on the higher nitrous applications because you can fry your spark plugs. Also in higher nitrous applications, you wanna use colder plugs like Denso Iridium ik20 for me and I think ik22 for you guys. I honestly didn't like the Densos (I had them in before the nitrous) and I tended to lose gas. If you use the hotter plugs you can fry your plugs. The only way that I know of to retard/advance spark timing is through a HKS kit that I can't remember the name. MSD doesn't have an application for us because we have direct ignition and a coil per cylinder. As far as the details on what would happen or why we need to do this, I need some help from my fellow juicers.

OK,

Now can u guys try to explain to me in somewhat of detail of who that works in the engine. The idea that I have in reguards to retarding the timing is instead of the spark firing when the piston is a TDC it would fire a split second later, the piston has gone down just a few mm. Is that the case?

Juker008
