Soo...

I took my car in today to get the Timing Belt stuff done which they gave me a rental (no extra cost mind you) but dang it... i want my baby back. This Hyundai Elantra aint cutting it. For such a small car it drives and feels like a truck.

Sorry, i just had to share this... Bored at work today.

C'mon 5oclock... counting the minutes when im able to pick her up.

Yeah i was shocked when i was given this, but the thing is that this Acura Dealership uses ENTERPRISE for their rentals, so its whatever they bring. Also i didnt buy my car from them or anything, my first time using them actually, so i guess im on the shit list for now.

Acura probably just wants to prove how much better they are, so they give you a POS Hyundai

Damn, i feel cheated now.
Then again as to what Andy has said its going to be extra special when i sit back into an Acura. I was actually kinda hoping that id get to drive the RDX, but oh well, its a free ride until my service is done... i cant really complain.

Trust me, you're lucky you didn't get the RDX. Its a nice car and all, but it drinks up gas like crazy. I got one as a loaner while my seat heater was being replaced and I went through almost a full tank of gas over the course of 3 days. I have to admit its surprisingly quick though.

And to jl03CLS, wtf?! I didn't know they had TL-S's as loaners? Lucky-ass.

Sherway... overall i was extremely pleased with their service and manner. My only beef was with them giving me a enterprise car that was a Hyundai... BUT i do understand the business of it and it was free, so i cant really hold that against them. Got it back this morning, would have had it the same day but i couldnt get there before closing time, and im so happy im back in it. It just hugs/touches me in all the right places!!! lol

So grand total for Timing belt, water pump & front breaks (new front pads, rotors machined):
Parts:$340
Labour: $730 - Total w/ taxes = $1200

A little more than i thought it would be, but free rental, same day service along with over all check of the car it doesnt bother me too much.
