something smoking after long drive
so i went from Raleigh, NC to Asheville, NC which is about a 5 hour drive and when i parked my car i noticed smoke coming out of the driver side wheel well. So my question is what could be the cause of this is my clutch just wearing out or what i was thinking is it could just be oil burning off since my rear main seal has a small leak. i was not pushing the car or doing hard shifts i was driving with the cruise control the whole way there at about 75-80 in 6th gear.

If it was your clutch it would have smelled like roasting brakes. Was there any smell? Was the smoke blue? It could be as simple as a valve cover gasket leaking a little on the exhaust. I would guess more often then not it is oil on some part of the exhaust.
If it smelled sweet it could be radiator fluid burning on the exhaust or steam from the cooling system leaking somewhere. Some peopl mistake steam for smoke.

probably ur pad on the rotor is stuck is my bet.
sometimes the pads u get don't fit the caliper 100% and are actually a bit too big. I have had to grind down some pads ever so slightly to make sure the slide all the way with ease. but it could also be the sliders on the caliper are jamming (aren't lubed up) or a seized piston.
I'd check that caliper out i'm sure u'll find something... provided ur sure it aint the trans

yeah thats what it could be everytime i get out of my car after driving it smells like something is burning. this has been a pretty sudden thing so i dont think it would be oil dripping on the exhaust. Would this affect my braking at all like is it important that i check out my caliper soon?

as soon as the wheel is off just remove the 14mm bolt on the top of the caliper that screws into the slider. and you should be able to simply pivot the caliper portion off of the brake pads.
if it pivots freely, then check the pads and make sure they more freely.
