Someone stole my Type-S Logo!!
I was washing the car on Saturday when I noticed that the Type S badge on the back was gone. It had to have happened when my wife was parked at the train station during the week. I am so pissed. I keep trying to calm myself by thinking that maybe it just fell off, but I've never heard of that happening before.
I'm debating between trying to find a new badge or just taking off the "3.2 CL". Arrgggh!!!!

Actually i have heard of peoples coming off with washing the car, like the wash mit catches it and rips it off.

I WOULD say take 'em all off but you have an '01. I have an '02 which I bought in July '01. I just debadged about 2 weeks ago and if you look close enough you can see where the old badges were glued on. Even after 3 hours of heating, plenty of Goo Gone, a good rinsing and a paste waxing.

Yeah, I guess I'll just bite the bullet and order a new one or pay a visit to the local scrap yard. And by the way, when you put it perspective of just having the logo stolen and not the whole car, it's really not that bad!

I can't believe this.......on www.acuraautomotiveparts.org, that the little "S" on the back of cars cost $22.

I had the same problem and debadged my car except for the Acura logo and it looks so much better I can't believe I didn't do it sooner.

Train station and movie theater parking lots are prime places to get your car vandalized or to have some punk rip off your "Type S" badges. Whenever I use the BART parking lots I always drive a beater and park next to a more expensive car just so my car will be left alone.

i saw a totalled TLS at the junk yard and swiped the S logo just in case mine ever disappeared...

Some homo decided to take both the A's and the type S logo from the back of my car while it was parked at Great America last year. I took it to Acura to get them replaced and the service manager told me to tell him that it had fallen off while washing my car... how nice of them, Acura replaced the logos under warranty.

I removed my 3.2CL emblem since the TYPE S emblem fell off. Yea right!!! But I still have both the front, rear A and the ACURA emblems in the back. People, please do not take any of my Anthracite color emblems, but if you really really really have to take my emblems, please becareful not to scratch my car. Oh, sorry wrong place to plea for the saftey of my emblems. LOL
