Sold my older car...

Just sold my 1995 Civic LX (4-door) for $4700 - I think that's a good price
for a 112K mile car. It had a 6-disc CD changer and 15" integra wheels (the nicer ones) but the tires were getting baldy...

What d'yall think of the price??

KBB for 'excellent' condition is $4100 and 'good' condition is $3600 (private-party sale)

sounds like a good deal! Honda's are usually worth it as they tend to last. Congrats.

Sound like an excellent price (for a seller)...

I'm always amazed at what some of the civics go for (especially low mileage ones).

We were pleasantly surprised.... I just wanted to mark it up a tad so that even if the buyer negotiates, it should settle around the blue-book value. However, he just asked for $100 off because the tires showed some age!! Then again I spent $120 detailing it inside/out... and $7.50 on touch-up paint

The buyer had seen about 8 cars before mine... even a 4-year old Neon (wonder why he did not buy that!). It was for his 17-year old daughter - her first car.

It was in pretty excellent shape, I had done the timing-belt, water-pump, radiator, hoses, plugs, wires, distr cap/rotor, 6-disc changer and 15" Integra GS-R wheels (the OG ones). The tires were kind bald, but it went for what we wanted - first buyer. I had also detailed it... so it looked quite nice

I think the current gas price helps your resale value.
