So our cars are considered "Upscale - Near Luxury" as opposed to "Sport Luxury"

According to AutoCheck.com, our CL's are considered "Upscale - Near Luxury"

I always thought that these were more like Sport Luxury...

I know I'm picking at it and that its almost the same thing, but just thought that I should post.

The CL was billed as a "sport touring" car. The TL as a sports sedan.
The official class of car is compact.

vista.

The CL was in comparison to the 3 series BMW and the Volvo C70 I believe. There was a video that was an "Official Acura" comparison of all three vehicles floating around somewhere, which was pretty interesting to watch.

But still cool to look at. Most people who haven't heard of them are curious to know what they are.

Get a whole bunch of programs for free with it like office 2007 and so on

the base of the system is actually Win XP Service Pack 3. Yes, SP3. Got it right after they released it but then they took it down. Dunno why.

Either way, back on topic... I agree that its just an pimped out accord, however its more than that Lol. To all of us I think...

I can't remember the source or how credible it was, but I once read that CL = "Contemporary Luxery"

It was on an Acura CL FAQ page that I can no longer find...

CL, TL, and RL don't stand for anything "officially". Neither does TSX, RSX, MDX, RDX...they're all just names.
