did you punch her in the nose to teach her a lesson?

jk

but seriously. I never let ANYONE drive my car unless I am in the car, and even then I rarely do that. As of yet I have only let 2 people not in my family drive my car.

A little fender bender? That's like $1,000 in damage.

Probably closer to $2K is my guess. If she rearended someone, the insurance impact is insult to injury

Man does that suck!!!! Reminds me of a girl I dated when I had a Mustang GT convert and I got the same call, "Had a little accident in your car..." whole fender caved in. She gave me some bullshit story that a semi lost its tire tread, it hit the fender and trashed it, then the tire tread came up over the windshield, without touching it mind you, and hit her in the head (top was down). Of course I couldn't be mad at her because she supposedly got hit in the head with the tire tread and I had to feel bad for her OR SHE'D BE PISSED AT ME! What are you gonna do?

my insurance company has already told me that my premiums will go up after this.

the GF feels really guilty since she knows how much I love my car and she has already written me a $500 check for the deductible.

as mattg said, at least i'll have fresh paint in the front...Lord knows that i had a buttload of chips.

would insurance will cover the clear bra i have on the front too??

Tough break..You get no ass if you tell her you can't drive the car and when you let her drive the car she comes back with it crashed. My girl knows she has a 30 minute time limit if she aint back she better call with updates. I did my best to train her..

Well at least your girlfiend isn't hurt, and if she's the type that feels really bad about things like this then you're set for a while. Just don't abuse the added hospitality. Everything has a limit, yours just got temporarily increased.

no paper. i live in tallahassee. they are even worse there. there is, i'de say 1 cop car for every 8 regular cars and towtruck drivers will pull 30 cars a night. they tow everything with wheels around florida state. i've had my car towed 3 times from my own complex. i'm in the middle of a lawsuit with Preffered Parking Services.

the estimate came in at $2400...that is without opening the hood to see if there is damage underneath (he was concerned the hood wouldn't shut if we opened it)

can't get the work started until next monday

my baby is back from the shop....with a different look (wonder if anyone can notice?)

I still haven't gotten a total of damages but apparently $2400 was not enough.
