Headers won't do you shit if you keep shifting at 6k.

 

I know.....I'll get my shifting down sooner or later....like i said b4, it was my first time racing with this damn thing, I didnt wana f*ck anything upp so I played it safe and shifted at 6500....Now I know better and wont make that mistake again when I race.

 

have you had a 6 speed since april of 04? never racing since then is some serious self restraint!

 

Just keep it safe and be very cautious. I'd say keep it on the track but I am not one to say I've never raced someone on a highway. At your age your inexperience driving (possibility of crashing) and the potential of being pulled over can screw you for several years on your insurance.

 

i know the IMRC(actuator) flips but it could still be broken. since it flips but i could not feel any difference through the rev band, i think that the teeth might be broke. i have heard that they can break quite easily because they the teeth on the gear is plastic, so i hope to one day take the IMRC off and try to open it up to see whats up.

 

I've been a member of the forum since april '04......Just got the CL-S last May.
