Smoke like mist from AC?

I've been getting this smoke like mist from my AC vents. I seen it 1 or 2 times on the 02 I had, but this car I see it all the time. It's not hot, AC works fine. I just see this smoke coming from the vent. It comes & goes. Anyone else see this? Is this a sign of a dirty cabin filter?

Smoke or humidity?

You'll see the dense air sometimes on days when the outside air is very humid, usually just for a second or two, as the A/C is a reasonable air dehumidifier.

Ive seen it on my 97 on a few occasions as well. It's humidity related and pretty much normal.

It's fairly common. It's due to the humidity. If it stinks, then you got a problem...see Acura.

No smell. It's not a heater core or something. I had that happen on a ford truck before.

Condensation. No biggie. All A/C systems will do it under the right conditions. I've even seen it on planes.

Normal. My previous MR2 did this when i had the AC on economy mode (you know, on-off-on-off). The interier air temp/humidity is the reason. Once the air is de-humidified, it should stop.

It humidity that is being taken out of the car.

If u see the mist/steam for 10-15 sec and it goes away it is humidity. Something that I see here in humid S Fla.
