Gotta hand it to ya Smitty, those are the NICEST wheels I've seen yet for our whips. Doesn't look like there's much else you can do to your car now!

Just one question tho,
Why go with a 8" wide wheel and put on a 225 section tire? I got 225s on my 18"x7.5" SSRs. Aren't you just adding extra wight with the extra half inch width? I'm thinking of buying superleggras and I want to get it in 18x8, but not if it wont fit the 235s without rubbing.

I did not want to take the chance of rubbing if I lower the car more.... I got an Extra Load tire so I will not have any issues..

Very nice wheels....precisely what I have been looking for on my car....too bad those stock brakes have to rust like that...takes away from the wheels. But they do look hot!

well if weight isn't a factor to u (and it really shouldn't considering yer not really saving any weight with these rims), wouldn't it b in yer best interest to get a wider rim for a larger selection of tires in wider sizes (assuming u don't mind getting a camber kit)???

EDIT: just to avoid confusion, when i said "not really saving weight," i meant that for the GT3's, NOT the GT1's...sorry bout that

Smitty, Def love those wheels. Those are HOT!! I think those are the best wheels and tires on here. Where did you get them and how much did they cost. Cant wait to hear back from you.

Shawn I got them through the tirerack.com

Local sellers around here are wieners and slow... Paid via U.S postal order $ on a Tuesday and got them 3 days later..

I got a foot in the door at the rack... so I got hooked up...

I have the 18x8 Superleggeras (+45) on my TL with 235/40/18's. They did rub some in the rear but nothing some masking tape, a Dremel and a utility knife did not solve

BTW Smitty, those GT3's are THE sweetest wheel I've seen to date

Looks good Smitty. The 03 headlights look so much better than my 01. Have you considered painting your calipers black?
