Mercedes Benz AMG C32 Coupe
The vehicle is fitted with a 5-speed automatic transmission with AMG SPEEDSHIFT function which combines the dynamism of a manual transmission and the convenience of an automatic. The optimum gear function and the active engine-braking downshift, together with manual bypassing of the torque converter from first gear, allow an extremely direct driving experience. The AMG SPEEDSHIFT transmission design means that gear changes are more spontaneous and around 35 percent faster.
Wide-base tyres, size 245/40 ZR 18 at the front and 275/35 ZR 18 at the rear, hold the road, and the C 32 AMG Sports Coupe is fitted as standard with multi-piece AMG light-alloy wheels, size 8.5 x 18 (front) and 10 x 18 (rear).
An overview of the most important data:
C 32 AMG Sports Coupé

0 - 200 km/h seconds 18.3
Top speed km/h 250*

I don't like it.
I don't understand why MB always has to put auto's in ALL their cars!
If they starting using manuals they may have a chance against BMW's!!!

Acura Service,
Thanks for the post! I saw you at PAA but you seemed to be in a hurry with your lady friend
so I didn't want to bother you.
I saw the sedan at the Philly Auto Show. Ugh. Great engine but the interior was very uncomfortable. Moreover, there was VERY little room, even in the back seats.
Yeah Mercedes has that bodyline that starts out low in the front and accends as you move towards the back. The CLK 320/430 has it. The CL and SL classes have the body line that peaks in the middle and then starts to descend. I think the latter looks better.
