Should I reset ECU after Bolt-ons?

Should the ECU be reset by pulling the 7.5 fuse after bolt-ons, or will the ECU recognize the change in more airflow and adjust accordingly? After reading a recent thread it crossed my mind that I havent reset it after months of having i/h/tb spacer/pullies added to my cls6.

Thanks for the input,

Chase

"Bolt-ons" are performance oriented modifications to the car that only require unbolting/bolting parts to install.

Resetting the ECU is a good idea, but the car will learn on it's own, albeit more slowly.

Okay, so im like 90% sure i did this right just want to make sure- when i pulled the fuse to reset the ECU should my presets on my radio still be the same as i had tuned them to? The reason i ask is because on my integra back in the day I use to reset the ECU by the neg battery cable and it would change all my presets and ask for the security code on the radio.

They should still be there. They will only be reset if you disconnect the battery.

FUSE #13 in the passenger side fuse panel.

There is a fuse holder in the engine bay fuse panel you can use to grab the fuse and pull it out.

I DIDNT KNOW I WAS SUPPOSED TO PULL A FUSE TO RESET, DAMN...
I thought just undoing the battery would let it reset...cool, will do this now.
sometimes i feel like an idiot because i look over the tiny things...

Pulling the neg battery cable will do the same thing, but you will just have to put the radio/navi codes in again. The fuse thing is just easier.

The ECU will still adjust to the mods, it just will be a gradual change. But people that have pulled the fuse said they felt an instant difference.
